I love the whole world which includes your left shoulder
I only ask
my every breath
spend itself to ecstasy
and that all
my echoes
lose themselves in your hair.
So today
I love the whole world
which includes your left shoulder
and whatever else
within or without
you care to reveal or share.
The only ghosts for me
drink the longing of icicles
melting in the sun.
Let’s dance our skeletons free
and then, naked at last,
shed the nakedness too.
Let us sink down and down,
depth through the earth
to the good human bone of love.
Your left shoulder
knows what I mean
more than all the libraries.
